Honoring a legacy and raising awareness

The Blackburn family, with assistance from local businesses, residents, and loved ones, would like to invite you to attend the 6th Annual Robert J. Blackburn Memorial Golf Scramble on June 20, 2026! We are blessed with the opportunity to host this event once again to remember Bob and to raise awareness around men’s mental and physical health.

The event will take place at the beautiful Edgewater Golf Club in Minerva, Ohio with 100% of the proceeds donated to Movember®, a men’s health advocate charity that serves the global men population focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. The event will take place at the beautiful Edgewater Golf Club in Minerva, Ohio on June 20th, 2026. 

The day will consist of a 4 person team scramble 18-hole golf tournament, followed by lunch, refreshments and fellowship with our friends and family. The cost to participate will be $160 per team of four or $40 per individual. Tee off is 8:30 am sharp and will likely last till 1:00pm. Prize and raffle drawings will be held immediately after lunch.

If you don't like chasing that little white ball around, you can still participate by donating directly to the event, purchasing a hole sponsorship ($100), raffle basket donation, or fundraising on our behalf with friends, family and colleagues.
